Please read this page, especially customers outside the U.S.

Be sure to fill in the shopping cart form completely and whenever applicable, the following:
  1. Your name, billing address, complete shipping address (if different) and phone.
  2. Your fax number and/or e-mail address.
  3. Visa or Mastercard number and expiration date.(No need for mail or fax orders, but do include these written legibly when sending us your order.)
  4. Preferred Shipping (UPS Ground is default for 48 States, Global Express Mail is default for International Orders)
  5. You will be given the option to either process the order online via secure server or print the order for you to mail or fax to us (will not process your credit card online when printing for mail/fax).

California residents, and orders being shipped to California, regardless of billing address must add 7.75% state sales tax ($5.35 per kwikKover).

On-line orders will receive a confirming e-mail. If you do not receive this e-mail either your order was not processed or your e-mail address did not work (perhaps your site barred our email) or you have installed a spam blocker which requests us to identify and invite ourselves into your allowed incoming messages (we will not click these links. Please add laminarlip.com to your allowed domains prior to ordering). Note: Personal checks may require up to 14 days to clear before shipment; you may prefer to use a credit card and our secure on-line order form (the secure padlock will appear when you send the order).

If your address does not comform to US style address formatting, please use the "Special Ordering Instructions" on our cart checkout page to include your address per your country's post office format.

Shipping

48 States

We recommend UPS Ground which includes(almost) real time tracking and up to $100 insurance, it's approximately $10.00-$13.00 (per kwikKover and can cost more or less depending on whether you are remote or next door to us.) A second (and third) kwikKover can be included for an additional $2.00 each. U. S. Mail service (Priority Mail) is also available at an approximate $11.00 price. Find a buddy to order with and save almost 10%. In a rush? Approximate costs for one kwikKover via UPS are: UPS 3-day ($17); UPS 2nd day($22); UPS Next Day ($45). UPS cannot ship to Post Office boxes and do not normally ship on weekends (Call us if you need UPS Saturday Delivery). All these prices can vary because they are determined by how far you are from us in southern California and how remote you are from the shipper’s hubs. U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail is the least expensive service having 2 day turnaround time (to most places in 48 states), delivery on Saturdays, but does not have tracking. The best "bang-for-buck/for-certain" delivery is U.S. postal service Express mail. It is much less pricey in comparison to UPS Non-Ground methods, delivers (usually) the next day, delivers Saturday and Sunday (!!!), has tracking, and costs about $21

Hawaii & Alaska

We recommend U. S. Mail, “usps.com” can show the cost. Add $2. to the cost for handling.

Canada

We recommend Express Mail International for about $37, this is insured and the Post Office claims delivery in 3-5 days. (Customs may add a day or more, plus Canadian Post will also need to deliver locally to you) Canadian Postal Service won't ship Global Express to a P.O. Box. When shipping by mail there is no brokerage charge, though taxes and tariffs may apply. You may also use Priority Mail International which is slightly slower (by about 3-5 days) but should be about $23. The kwikKover does not qualify for NAFTA.

We had previously quoted UPS Canada Standard shipping for a kwikKover to be about (aboot, we speak Canadian, ehhh) $12 Western or $16 Eastern, and warned off High Customs Brokerage fee that UPS collects. We now actually collect that fee up front to reduce the shock of added expense, you should notice UPS Canada considerably higher now. We still prefer you use Mail service...

All other countries

Express Mail international is the best way to ship (about $39 for a kwikKover to most European Countries and slightly more for most Asian countries. Canadians, see above, ehh?). This type of shipment usually takes 3 to 5 days, but it can take longer, it is insured and trackable to your local Post Office. You can check at " usps.com " (the U.S. Postal Service) to see what shipping to your country should cost. (add $2 for handling) We can also add insurance (about $2.50) to each package if shipped by Priority Mail International. This shipment should take about 10 days, BUT .....over a month or 5 weeks is not uncommon, and this method has NO TRACKING. Some countries, such as South Africa(and to compound issues, only in certain cities), do not allow Express shipping and thus shipments usually take a long time. Laminar ships within three days of the order but we have no way to check, track or hurry Priority Mail International orders. Your country may also charge you a tariff/tax to import our parts, we are not able to alter our invoice, to lessen this charge, since we intend to continue doing business there.
